Set up the stand on Wed 23rd. Electric box is on the wrong side and more wires. Swapped the layout but good that I set up the stand in the workshop as a dress rehearsal.
Build up is frenetic but I notice veterans less stressed.

Today I worked on a small new chandelier. I still have a basket of twigs which I gathered on the mountain last year. Running low, will need to walk and gather again.
The piece is looking tacky, I'm using telephone wire but it looks cheap, plain wire is better. I am stringing beads and found plastic, the effect of this light piece will depend on the 'mass' of pendants and the'nest' above it. It needs a lot of 'work'.

Now that it is confirmed that I will be showing pieces at the Design Indaba Feb 2011, I have started new cabinets. Another 12 month cabinet and thinking of smaller pieces. I think the theme will be floral. Feedback from WindRiver where the Proteas and flowers have been stunning.
So currently I am working on a new 12 Month cabinet, some new chandeliers and still working on paintings and drawings.
